Royal Wedding Hats

Princesses Beatrice, 22, and Eugenie, 21, cousins to Prince William, complemented their wedding outfits with some over-the-top headpieces. According to UsMagazine.com, the sisters, daughters of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson, chose Philip Treacy to design their hats. (Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images) 

The hats the ladies wore to the Royal Wedding yesterday were described with many words: cool, unique, interesting, crazy, "flying-saucerish", outlandish, elegant, and so on. (Click here to see more photos of hats from the Royal Wedding.)

I come from a family of "hat chic" women (Mother, Grandmother, Aunts), though I don't really like to wear hats myself. Someday, I'm set to inherit a lot of really pretty hats. Watching the wedding yesterday morning inspired me to think again about becoming a fan of the millinery.

My Mother would be proud. :)

Thankfulness

About five years ago when Marc and I were experiencing a challenging time of life, we agreed that we would be thankful during that time, and thankful when times were better, remembering what life was like back then.  

This moment was a reminder.

{POTD} - Pink Kitchen

It's no surprise that I like the color Pink.  However, I haven't  resigned myself to decorating our home in that color.  Besides, Marc wouldnt go for it anyway.  The other day I came across this photo at housebeautiful.com.  The pink refrigerator is cool  :)
